The Lost Gospels

Because of The Da Vinci Code and the recent publication of the so called "Lost Gospel", the Gospel of Judas, there are people out there who mistakenly believe that the oldest gospel accounts give a different view of who Jesus is than the traditional gospel accounts of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. However, the fact is, the gospel accounts found in the Bible are far older than these so called "lost gospels". By any objective standard, the most reliable accounts of Jesus' life are the one's we have in the Bible, not the often bizarre writings found in the gospels of Judas, Philip, Thomas, et. al.

To see just how old the evidence for the real gospels is, visit Bible Facts. Compare that with the dates of the "Lost Gospels" and you will see both a) the real gospels were written long before the false ones, and b) the physical evidence for the real gospels is far older, and far, far more extensive than the lost gospels. We don't base our faith on archeology. No parchment fragment is going to convince someone the Bible is or isn't true. Yet, it is nice to know that the more archaologists discover, the more it testifies to the truthfulness of the Bible.
